Semi Permanent Make-up

With semi-permanent make up, your worries can become history. You will be able to wake up feeling beautiful, without the need to apply your make up which takes up a lot of your time usually! Semi-permanent make-up is a form of cosmetic tattooing, in which pigments are introduced into the skin, to add a permanent colour. The procedure involves the use of a hand-held device, that punctures your skin hundreds of times per minute, with a very fine needle and pushes the pigment into the desired location.

In addition, to defining the eyes, semi-permanent make-up is used to enhance your eyebrows, lips and can create a permanent look of lipstick on the lips and fuller looking eyebrows. In Aphrodite Esthetics we use exclusively organic ingredients, with no azo-colorant, complying with category 1 of the EU Cosmetic regulations, Feel Good (2015) Germany. The treatment is safe and is carried out with the highest hygiene standards. A topical anaesthetic cream can be applied to the skin, before the procedure, to numb the treatment area. It is a relatively pain free procedure, no more painful than having your eyebrows tweezed. The procedure itself, takes about 90 minutes and the make up will last an average of three years.

* Before going ahead with the procedures, there are some things you should know.

Please find the list of our semi permanent make-up services below:

Eyebrows: Hair Strokes or Combination

Block Brows are designed for clients who are looking for a more dramatic and defined look, the treatment is a combination of hair strokes and intense colour or sharp edged effect. The overall look achieved by the brow block would be that of a drawn on pencil.

Lip Liner

Who wouldn’t want full luscious lips and a youthful healthy blush of colour? A natural appearing permanent cosmetic lip liner can be applied to give more definition, correct uneven lips, which will result in a fuller appearance. The procedure also helps prevent lipstick from bleeding and can minimize the appearance of wrinkles. Permanent lip liner is also great for those who don’t like to fuss with makeup because they still don’t have to fuss with it. These highly skilled lip treatments have a profound anti-ageing and long lasting effect.

Lip Liner With Blush

If your lip colouring is looking a little pale or the edge undefined, the ease of not having to re-apply lipstick throughout the day is just great. Gives definition, volumising effect in a contrasting colour!

Eyebrows: Full Shading

Shading effect: Soft textured look resembles make up applied with an eyebrow pencil. Eyebrows are the frame of our eyes and when designed correctly they can create a youthful appearance. Many of us have thin or irregular eyebrows and need make up every day to get the right definition to our eyebrows. Micro-pigmentation will give you a perfectly shaped natural looking brow created with a technique of single hair strokes, or a soft textured look or both.

Full Lip Color

A “Full Lip” treatment is a combination of lip liner and lip color. The use of a soft lip liner can redefine the shape of lips and corrections in asymmetry and shape. A Permanent Lip Treatment Can Improve: Lip Definition, Symetry, Loss of color from the aging process, Darkening of color due to smoking. When a woman's lipstick comes off, her face looks so pale and her lips look shapeless.

Eyeliner: Upper & Lower

Eyeliner: Upper

When applying eyeliner to the eyes, your lashes can be made to look thicker, applying a soft, natural line between the lashes creates instant definition.

This is incredibly effective at opening the eyes.

A more defined line can be created for those who wish to add more colour suited to patients who regularly apply eyeliner.

Many colours can be created to enhance the natural undertone of the eye, opening and brightening the eye.

Colours can be added to shadow or give a smokey shade.

Suitable for anyone with pale eyes, blonde lashes, oily skin,

small eyes needing definition and shape, contact lens wearers, people with allergies, poor eyesight for those who just don’t want to take the time for tedious liner application.
